When it came to their wedding stationery, the three big things for India and Clay were Tonnara di Scopello details, the food, and their beloved pets. They loved the idea of incorporating nods to Sicily and their venue's long history of tuna fishing in a simple black and white line-drawn style.

Where Sicily meets Tonnara di Scopello - while Sicily inspired the backs of both cards in this suite, the fronts were designed to spotlight India and Clay's venue. We featured an illustration of Tonnara di Scopello on the main invitation card, while the secondary card offered a whimsical nod to the venue's history of tuna fishing with two tuna fish kissing in their wedding attire. On the back of the event card you'll find the Trinacria Medusa symbol, which has long been associated with protection and good luck in Sicilian culture. The back of the main invitation featured a sun and moon motif inspired by traditional Sicilian tilework sitting amongst the stars.
